How we work

Meteos helps companies, governments, investors and civil society organisations to identify and understand the long-term trends that will shape their operating environments, and to develop relationships and insights that prepare them for the future.

We apply a systems approach to change. It is based on the belief that two fundamental challenges hold back progress. First, many initiatives are characterised by a siloed approach that does not address the complexity of “wicked problems” which will take system-wide responses and multiple actors to solve. Second, there is a tendency for initiatives to be constrained by institutional imperatives which lead to an unsustainably narrow definition of what constitutes success.

With a core team of experienced facilitators and researchers, Meteos brings together skills in research, analysis, facilitation, and networking. Our team combines both specialist knowledge, and strategic skills in systems thinking, theories of change, and managing complexity.

Dialogues

Dialogues

Meteos convenes multi-sector dialogues that allow companies, investors, governments and civil society institutions to better understand their operating landscape, and the relationships, behaviours and business models that will be critical to future success.
Facilitation

Facilitation

Meteos supports senior teams to clarify purpose and strategy, and to understand the systems within which they operate. The Meteos approach helps organisations explore “models of change” and their implications for strategy.

Meteos team members sit on a number of advisory committees and Boards, and play an informal advisory role to a wide range of organisations in public, private and NGO sectors.
